MEMPHIS, TN – April 14, 2008
The West Clinic, the Mid-South’s leader in cancer care, announced today that it will open a new office on the campus of St. Francis Hospital – Bartlett on Friday, April 18, 2008. The new facility will be located at 2996 Kate Bond Road, Suite 303, Bartlett, TN 38133.

An open house will be held at the new office on Friday, May 2nd from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Dr. Gary Tian, a highly respected medical oncologist, will see patients at the new facility on Fridays beginning April 18th. He is Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine, specializing in Oncology/Hematology, and is licensed to practice in Maryland, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Dr. Tian has practiced in the Memphis area since 2003 and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, and the American College of Physicians. His research efforts have been well published in a number of peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Tian believes in educating patients about their illness to help them better understand the disease process and treatment options. His scientific background lends to the philosophy of bringing cancer care “from bench to bedside,” and he is excited about seeing patients in the new Bartlett office.

The Bartlett clinic will be the 7th location for The West Clinic with current clinics in Memphis, Collierville, Covington, Southaven, and Corinth.

Patients at the Bartlett office will have access to the full array of comprehensive services provided by The West Clinic including Medical Oncology, Hematology, Interventional Radiology, Gynecologic Oncology, Palliative Care, and Endocrinology.
